Commit thy way unto the Lord, trust also in Him and he shall bring it to pass. Psalm 37:5
We are all runners. Running away from God, looking for happiness apart from oneness with Him, attempting to find something in this world that can make us happy, not realizing happiness is the result of obedience to His Word, and that requires just the opposite of ‘running’ – it requires sitting still, spending time reading the Bible, so we can know God’s thoughts, and then praying and asking God to intervene in our life in a special way.
It is when we acknowledge His love for us, and ask Him for His forgiveness and accept His gift of salvation from our own ‘selfish’ nature, that the door to truth is unlocked, and the mysteries of our oneness with God and others becomes real in our experiences.
“For God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him, should not perish but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world, but hat the world through him might be saved.” John 3:16-17
